The size or width of the horizontal line or
element can be changed by setting the width property in CSS. And the thickness of the horizontal line can be changed by adding the height property to the CSS rules for
.
Examples of Width and Height Settings
The tag is a generic inline container element and has no specific purpose or uses. Developers use the tag to style sections of text via CSS. It can be used just like the
tag. The only difference is that
is a block-level container element whereas is an inline container element. While each
starts on a new line, there are no line breaks after the tag.
